Pengaruh Pengeluaran Sektor Publik Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Negara ASEAN

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pengaruh sektor publik (sektor Pendidikan dan sektor Kesehatan) terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Empat negara ASEAN (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, dan Filipina). Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi data panel. berdasarkan data tahun 2005-2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Dan kesehatan memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan pada pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pemerintah di berbagai negara melakukan intervensi ekonomi melalui pengeluaran di sektor publik, terutama pendidikan dan kesehatan dengan tujuannya adalah mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kawasan Empat Negara ASEAN, pertumbuhan ekonomi antar negara menunjukkan perbedaan kinerja. Beberapa penelitian mengaitkan hal tersebut dengan peran pengeluaran sektor publik. Namun demikian, hasil kajian empiris sebelumnya masih beragam dan belum konklusif. Kontribusi utama dari penelitian ini terhadap literatur adalah upaya untuk menganalisis dampak investasi sektor publik di bidang-bidang tersebut terhadap pencapaian pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara ASEAN.
