To avoid plagiarism, every submitted manuscript will be screened using Turnitin and Plagiarism Checker X.
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are entirely original. Any use of the work or words of others must be properly cited or quoted.
Al-Madrasah: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah uses Turnitin to evaluate manuscript similarity before making editorial decisions.
Manuscripts submitted to Al-Madrasah: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah must have a similarity index of no more than 25%.
Plagiarism includes:
- Word-for-word plagiarism – copying another author's words without using quotation marks and proper citation.
- Source plagiarism – using another person's ideas without giving appropriate acknowledgment or citation.
- Authorship plagiarism – presenting another author's work as one's own.
- Self-plagiarism – publishing substantially the same work in more than one journal by reusing previously published material without sufficient novelty. When citing previous work, the new manuscript must contain significant additions and original contributions.
