Al-Muhith: Journal of the Science of the Qur'an and Hadith is an institutional journal managed by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Al-Qur'an (STIQ) Amuntai, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The journal publishes scholarly articles in the fields of Qur'anic and Hadith studies. It is published twice a year, in January and July, and has both print and online ISSN registrations: Print ISSN 2963-4016 and Online ISSN 2963-4024.

1. Publication Development (2022–2024)

From Volume 1, Number 1 (2022) to Volume 3, Number 2 (2024), Al-Muhith maintained a biannual publication schedule, with each issue containing five articles. During this period, the journal established its publication practices and continued to provide a scholarly platform for research and academic discussion in Qur'anic and Hadith studies.

2. Expansion of Publication Capacity (2025)

Beginning in 2025, Al-Muhith increased the number of published articles from five to 15 per issue. This adjustment was made in response to the growing number of manuscript submissions and increasing interest among researchers, lecturers, and other scholars in publishing their work in the journal. The journal continued to maintain its biannual publication schedule while expanding its capacity to accommodate a broader range of scholarly contributions.

3. Further Development (2026)

In 2026, Al-Muhith further increased its publication capacity to 20 articles per issue in response to the continued growth in publication demand. This development reflects the journal's efforts to accommodate scholarly contributions in Qur'anic and Hadith studies while continuing to uphold editorial standards and the quality of its peer-review process.
